Lagoa do Parnamirim, surrounded by high whitesand dunes, seems like a small paradise in the middle of a desert. It is the place where one can do skibunda or sliding down a steep dune while sitting on a sand board, if one is fast enough one can make it all the way into the lagoon! This lagoon is standard included in the local buggy tours through the area.

Lagoa do banana is the biggest lagoon near Cumbuco, it is about 3 kms from the town center. There is a variety of activities to be done here; jet sky , banana boat and motor boat rides. There are several restaurants spread around this lagoon. It is unsuited for kitesurfing because of its unstable wind.

Lagoa do Cauipe is a beautiful lagoon, its were the river Rio Cauipe meets the Atlantic Ocean. Its an ideal spot for kitesurfing, the whole year through one can find kitesurfers here. The best of the world come here regularly to practise their newest moves!
